Bio

I am an artist who enjoys creating illustrations for all ages. When I first started drawing, I drew anime fanart. Even though it wasn't all that good, I kept going. I later drifted away from anime into more of a fantasy interest and started painting faeries in watercolors. Due to the high prices for traditional media, I switched to digital media only in 2008. After temporarily getting bored with fantasy in 2010, I began to paint animals. I would still do fantasy from time to time, but focus on animals. Since summer 2013, I have reincorporated fantasy, but with the anime style, back into my gallery.

What gives me inspiration?
Many of the artists on deviantART and around the internet have inspired me. Also, my situation influences my work. For example, I am have started to watch anime again and that has inspired me to use that style of art.

What music do I listen to while I paint?
I listen to either Celtic music or Industrial music. It depends on my artistic mood.

What media do I use to create my works?
I use a Wacom Intuos5 tablet along with Photoshop CS6 and PaintTool SAI. I also use a paper and pencil to sketch out my ideas and then scan it into my computer. I can't draw on the computer from scratch. For traditional works, I use copic markers, Micron pens, and X-press It blending card, Strathmore Toned Paper, Faber-Castel colored pencils, and Sakura gold.

A word of "Thanks"... I credit my ability to create art from God. It is by His grace and blessings that I do what I do. He gave me two hands to draw and paint. He gave me an imagination. I am truly thankful for His presence in my life.  "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe," Hebrews 12:28
